Once upon a
Time Ivor used to unstop
Kitchen sinks

Fix broken
Toilets his fingers kept
Water flowing

Now he spends
His nights dreaming of his
Sweetest Angel

The good times
They shared together during
Years gone by

Spends his days
Plumbing words for their
Hidden depths

His desk is
Now his sink his pen keeps
Words flowing

    1. Your welcome Ivor I always write from the heart and mean what I write! All too often those closest to us with whom we rub shoulders only see us as ordinary. I just wanted to reach out and share how extraordinary you truly are. ๐Ÿ™‚

      1. Even better I appreciate you for the man you have chosen to be – any bloke can drink a beer not just anyone can write a good poem. Because to write a good poem one has to have a good heart. And good hearts don’t come cheap! ๐Ÿ™‚
